CITY OF HOLYOKE
WINTER PARKING REGULATIONS

During a snow emergency there shall be a winter Parking Ban declared by the Mayor and enforced by the Police. Vehicles in violation of this ban will be ticketed and ordered towed at the owner’s expense.
BE AWARE OF CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND CHECK THESE MEDIA SOURCES FOR THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PARKING BAN. The Winter Parking Ban, or Reverse Side Parking Ban, will be announced on various local television and radio stations, city website and social media accounts, and the cable access channels as soon as possible.

When the Winter Parking Ban is in effect the following parking regulations apply:
• IN AN EVEN YEAR– NO PARKING ON THE EVEN SIDE OF THE STREET
• IN AN ODD YEAR – NO PARKING ON THE ODD SIDE OF THE STREET
• STREETS THAT HAVE BOTH EVEN AND ODD NUMBERS ON BOTH SIDES, PARKING WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS AND WILL BE POSTED
• REVERSE SIDE PARKING – AS SOON AS POSSIBLE THE FOLLOWING DAY UPON CONCLUSION OF STORM CLEANUP PER  DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
