Please be advised that starting at 8:00am on Monday, February 17, 2025, a reverse parking ban will be enforced, prohibiting parking on the EVEN side of the street and on cul-de-sacs until further notice. Les informamos que a partir de las 8am del 17 de febrero, comenzará una prohibición de estacionamiento inversa, prohibiendo estacionarse en el lado PAR de la calle y en las calles sin salida hasta nuevo aviso. The Collector of Taxes is responsible for the collecting of the city’s real estate, personal property, and motor vehicle excise taxes. All necessary steps required by Massachusetts General Law will be taken to collect on all past due accounts.

Our office is committed to serving our customers. We extend professional and courteous customer service to the members of our community. We will answer all inquiries to the best of our ability and provide up to date information.

All transactions are posted, recorded and deposited daily. Along with the collection of taxes, our office handles the issuance of municipal lien certificates and parking ticket payments and hearing requests.
