HOLYOKE RETIREMENT BOARD

MINUTES

 

Pursuant to Chapter 20, Section 20 of the Acts of 2021, the regular Meeting of the Holyoke Retirement Board was called to order by Chairperson Jack McCarthy at 9:00 A.M.  Present were Cheryl Dugre, Tanya Wdowiak, Todd McGee (9:31) and Michele Aubrey (ZOOM). Also present were Executive Director Anthony Dulude, Attorneys Thomas Gibson (ZOOM) and Gerry McDonough (ZOOM) and Journalist Cyril Espanol Journalist (ZOOM).

 

 

  1. Minutes of Board meeting held on July 19, 2023 minutes.

 

 

On separate motions made by Ms. Wdowiak, seconded by Ms. Dugre, it was voted unanimously, via roll call (5-0) to accept Item I “Minutes,” Item II “Bank Reconciliation,” Item III “Statement of Financial Activities,” Item IV “Retirement Applications,” and Item V “Expenses.”, voting in favor all members.

Atty Gibson– informed the Board on issues throughout the State going forward

  2. Active shooter- certification for regular pay. Body Cams-monetary payment
  3. Cyber Security- HG&E
  4. Veterans -Ch 32 41H

RFP- The Board will have to do new RFP for consulting Services- due September 15, 2023 at 4pm

 

Todd McGee stated that the board did their due diligence with regards to choosing &CO as the consultant

for the first RFP and according to him did nothing wrong with the process of selecting &CO.

 

 

The next meeting of the Holyoke Retirement Board will be held on Wednesday September 20, 2023 @ 9am

 

There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Ms. Wdowiak, seconded by Ms. Dugre, passing unanimously, (5-0).
