The HLCC met on March 3.

All members were present including our new member Rachel Rushing. The meeting was called to order at 6:35. We began with introductions.
There were no grantees communications to report.
Treasurer’s report  2025: $78,109.00, $3,581.14 has been reimbursed and $74,527.86 remains. No change to 2024.
Our grants reception will be at Fame on Tuesday, May 6, from 5:30-7:30. Anne and Chris will visit Fame to choose the menu. Anne will promote the event  via email to our grant recipients. Rachel asked about the possibility of Fame creating a signature mocktail for the event.
The timeline for 2025-2026 was reviewed. Reminder for members to step up into leadership positions.
We reviewed and revised the Community Input Survey questions. Navae will finalize and translate these updates possibly by April meeting, more likely by May meeting. Gloria will review the translation. Chris Fournier will then create a QR code. We hope to launch the survey in May (both online and on paper) to have it available at the grant reception.
We have reserved a space to again table at Holyoke Pride.
Grantee requested approval of a change to the dates of the Afro-Carribbean History through the Arts project to June 13 and 14. The request was unanimously approved.
(Gloria abstained.)
Options for a banner were discussed. Rachel will explore options for a tablecloth which might be easier to display. The meeting adjourned at 7:45.
