Agenda
Item 1: McGiverin 8/4/20: Ordered, that in accordance with M.G.L Chapter 44 Sec. 53A, the City Council hereby accepts the provisions of the “PVPC/CRCC” grant. and authorizes the establishment of a Fund or other method appropriate for the accounting of the receipts and expenditures of all resources associated with the administration of said grant.
Item 2: McGiverin 8/4/20: Ordered, that in accordance with M.G.L Chapter 44 Sec. 53A, the City Council hereby accepts the provisions of the “CANAL SYSTEMS INDUSTRIAL AREA” grant. And authorizes the establishment of a Fund or other method appropriate for the accounting of the receipts and expenditures of all resources associated with the administration of said grant.
Item 3: McGiverin 8/4/20: Ordered, that in accordance with M.G.L Chapter 44 Sec. 53A, the City Council hereby accepts the provisions of the FY2020 Masstrails/CT River Pathway project grant. And authorizes the establishment of a Fund or other method appropriate for the accounting of the receipts and expenditures of all resources associated with the administration of said grant.
Item 4: McGiverin 8/4/20: Ordered, that in accordance with M.G.L Chapter 44 Sec. 53A, the City Council hereby accepts the provisions of the “IMLS Cares Act Grant entitled Vitual Programming for Distance Learning.” and authorizes the establishment of a Fund or other method appropriate for the accounting of the receipts and expenditures of all resources associated with the administration of said grant.
Item 5: Annual Financial Report from the City Auditor
Item 6: McGee 6/16/20: Ordered that the City Auditor come before the Finance Committee to give an update on the procedures now in place to address the tracking of Dept. Grants and reconciling them
Item 7: Communication from Michael J. Heffernan, Secretary of Administration and Finance RE: Federal Coronavirus Relief Fund
Item 8: McGee 6/16/20: Ordered that the City Tax Collector and Assessor come before the Finance Committee to discuss the Excise tax with regard to companies like United Tractor Trailer, Amazon, etc.
Item 9: Anderson-Burgos, McGee 6/2/20: Ordered that the Finance Committee invite in the Parks and Rec. Director Terry Sheppard and Ms. Ferriter to discuss Community Field developments
Item 10: Vacon 3/10/20: Ordered that any transfers from personnel budget lines to overtime (51300-51399) require approval by the City Council
