HOLYOKE — The City of Holyoke ARPA Small Business Code Compliance Program is opened and accepting applications. This program offers financial assistance to those businesses in need of code compliance updates to resume or continue operations.
The City of Holyoke has allocated $800,000.00 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to support small businesses with code compliance improvements. This Program is a subset of the Small Business Grant Program which has already provided nearly $800,000.00 to assist Holyoke small businesses in their recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. This round of funding is provided to assist businesses with specific code compliance improvements to buildings, such as accessibility modifications, fire systems and other compliance updates that must be made under orders from public safety or building officials. Minimum award amounts will be $2,000; maximum award amount will be $100,000.
Small businesses may apply from October 15th through close of business on November 18t. All applications will be reviewed after November 18.
