Overdose Prevention Training

In advance of Overdose Awareness Day (August 31), Holyoke Medical Center (HMC) invites the community to join recovery support experts on August 23, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. for an overdose prevention training event with distribution of Narcan (a medication that quickly reverses an opioid overdose) led by Tapestry Health. Learn 2 Cope, a peer-led support network that offers education, resources and hope for family members and friends who have loved ones affected by substance use, will be available to answer questions and provide additional resources.
