The office of Planning & Economic Development (OPED) is a multi-faceted office with a focus on current business retention, new business recruitment, short and long range planning for the City of Holyoke, as well as being home for a number of boards and commissions.

OPED provides staff support to the Planning Board, Holyoke Redevelopment Authority, the Holyoke Economic Development Industrial Corporation, the Licensing Board, the Tourism Advisory Committee and more.
