Covid 19 Relief & Recovery Grants

The primary purpose of the Covid-19 Relief & Recovery Grants is to help Holyoke-based entities, especially those within the Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism sector, survive and recover from the impacts of the Covid-19 Pandemic and to assist with costs aimed at preventing further spread of the virus. Businesses receiving assistance through the COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Grant Fund must be permitted and located within the City of Holyoke and have been established prior to February 15, 2020. The Grant Program is administered by the City of Holyoke Office for Community Development. They are funded from the American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus State and Local Relief Fund

All Holyoke-based businesses and Hospitality, Travel and Tourism (HTT) entities in operation prior to February 15, 2020 who have experienced negative economic impacts because of the Covid-19 Pandemic are eligible to apply. Individual grants are capped at $25,000.

Applications are accepted at any time and reviewed on a monthly basis while funding is available. The first round of funds are anticipated to be granted in November of 2021. The total amount available for businesses in Holyoke is $800,000.
