Continuing Air Quality Concerns

Posted on June 8, 2023

Poor air quality continues to affect the area due to ongoing wildfires in Canada. Until the air quality improves, here are some suggestions to reduce the impact: limit outdoor time, avoid high-intensity outdoor activities, use fans and AC to stay cool, keep windows and doors closed to limit outdoor air coming inside and, if available, run a portable air cleaner to improve air quality. For those with respiratory issues, consider wearing a well-fitted mask.

Conditions are expected to improve throughout the end of the week.
