Carl Rossi
The Director of Public Works serves as the driving force behind the city’s infrastructure, services, and overall quality of life. Their leadership and strategic planning are essential for maintaining and improving the well-being of our community.
Carl Rossi attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He later went on to earn his
MBA in Finance and Organizational Management from Rutgers University.
In November of 2010, he received his Certified Public Works Manager license
from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and worked as
Director of Public Works for several municipalities in New Jersey.
Carl was a former commissioner and chairman of the City of Clifton
Environmental Commission where he helped the City several grants including
one for an Environmental Inventory Report.
He is also a coach and a board member of the Sportfriends Soccer Club in
Wayne, NJ. Carl has a wife, Sheila, and four children Anna, Kathleen, Giuseppe
and Michael.
