City FY25 Paving Program Update

The City has recently contracted with Warners Brothers Construction for the FY25 Paving Program.  Work to be completed this Fall is anticipated to start on October 18^th as follows:

• South Street (from Northampton St to High Street)
  • Milling – Oct. 18^th and Oct. 21^st
  • Adjustment of structures – Oct. 22^nd to Oct. 23^rd
  • Paving – Oct. 30^th and October 31^st.
• Beech Street (from Northampton Street to Ladd Street) –
  • Milling – Oct. 21^st and Oct. 22^nd
  • Adjustment of structures – Oct. 24^th to Oct. 25^th
  • Paving – Oct. 31^st to Nov. 1^st
• Linden Street (from Beech Street to Anderson Avenue)
  • Milling – Oct. 22^nd to Oct. 23^rd
  • Adjustment of structures – Oct. 25^th
  • Paving – Oct. 31^st to Nov. 1^st
• Homestead Avenue (from Fairmont Street to Westfield Road)
  • Milling – Oct. 23^rd to Oct. 24^th
  • Adjustment of structures – Oct. 28^th to Oct. 29^th
  • Paving – Nov. 4^th to Nov. 5^th

It should be noted that emergency vehicles, local traffic, buses, and delivery services will be allowed through.  Traffic signals will also be affected and set to timers during construction activities.  Residents should expect minor delays and are requested to seek alternate routes if possible.

Tentitive list of streets for Spring 2025 paving include the following and more details will be provided in Spring 2025:

• Jackson Street (from High Street to South Race Street)
• Meadow Street (from Main Street to end)
• Old Jarvis Avenue (from Jarvis Avenue to Easthampton Road)
• Bassett Road (from Old Jarvis Avenue to Alma Street)
• Dupuis Road (from Apremont Highway to the Southampton town line)
