City of Holyoke Seeks Community Input on COVID-19 Recovery
The City of Holyoke received over $40 million in American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds from the United States Treasury to aid in recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The first half of ARPA-CSLFRF funds were provided to projects like small business grants, water and sewer infrastructure, affordable housing development, non-profits to improve their facilities and for mental health services last year.
The City, through the Office for Community Development, is conducting a survey to better understand the community needs for the next round of funding. Please take the ARPA Community Survey available by scanning the QR code or online at https://forms.gle/Qg4nifirkTF1HEU38 (English) or https://forms.gle/P2W5kaW5vBWJ1j2R7 (Spanish) or request a paper copy by calling 413-322-5610 or at www.holyoke.org or on Facebook @HolyokeOCD. This survey is available in other languages and accessible formats upon request and will be available from July 1 through August 16.
Survey takers will be entered into a random drawing to win lunch with Mayor Garcia or a $200 gift card. The ARPA Community Survey was recently included in Holyoke Gas and Electric monthly billing newsletter.
